Message	the shorter its shelf life, because they would start to separate. On Bob Is The Oil Guy, Ive read of people doing a oil analysis on 4 year old shelf oil and it still being good. Every year? especially on an engine that wasnt run? I would chalk that up to sales numbers rather than science.
